Indian team spinner Pragyan Ojha broke into the top-15 of the ICC Cricket ranking for the first time in his career after a strong showing against the West Indies took 20 windows in the series, including seven in the third and last test in the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
Six of his seven wickets came in West Indies' second innings and he jumped 11 places to 15th, just ahead of Australia's Peter Siddle. However, paceman Ishant Sharma fell three spots to 20 after taking a single ring on the third party. Zaheer Khan, who is still recovering from ankle surgery, remained at number six.
In the ranking for Test batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar (6), Rahul Dravid (8), and V.V.S. Laxman (14) lost a place each, while Virender Sehwag remained in the 19th place.
